Actra Members

If you are an Actra member or Apprentice member it is always recommended, but not necessary, to have a professional headshot done. (Of course, this would not apply to very young children). Background Performers (Extras)

If you are interested in doing only background work – I would require a current photograph 4x6 or 5x7 in size. I would recommend a light background, ‘uncluttered’ (as you don’t want to take away from your picture). Exterior pictures are usually better in quality (i.e. no redeye).

The picture should be taken fairly close up – and can be a head and shoulders shot, or full body. The key here is that the picture should be clear and crisp and should be a true likeness of yourself.

Pictures can be either emailed to me in JPEG format or mailed to me together with my profile sheet which can be found in the forms section of the website.

Multiples

Multiples should be in the same picture, looking alike. I realize this is sometimes harder than it sounds. If the twins or triplets are identical – then I would recommend that you dress the children the same. (Which re-emphasis that the children are identical -- which is very beneficial in this industry).

As above, please email me pictures in JPEG format or mail them along with my profile sheet.

As pictures are key in this business, it is therefore very important that you remember to send me updated pictures (and measurements). This is especially important for children under the age of 2, as babies change quickly. I cannot secure your children work, if I don’t have a current photograph.
